After sampling gloriously melted cheese, the crunch of fresh tomatoes and pickles, and satisfying mouthfuls of bacon and sautéed mushrooms, these are the best burgers in Dallas we just can’t live without.

Chef Ensembles: The Food Chick isn’t talking about fashion-forward chefs, she’s talking about the layers of out-of-town talent coming to play with San Antonio chefs this month

Since March, Chef John Russ has been hosting Visiting Chef Dinners with chefs from the John Besh Restaurant Group (the exception was a Fiesta fling with Diego Galicia of Mixtli). On Sept. 10, he’s welcoming Chef Miles Landrem of Johnny Sanchez in NOLA to his kitchen at Lüke San Antonio. Landrem artfully infuses local ingredients into the menu at Johnny Sanchez, which is a collaborative effort between Besh and Chef Aarón Sanchez.
